  1. I bought one of his lessons. He’s the real deal folks. Been playing for a while myself but he got me out of some bad technical habits that some of us self taughters tend to do.

  2. can anyone tell me…when you change key a mode…say it was dorian….as from the c major you would take d …if you where to play dorian in g would you take the g major scale and start and finish on a? =/ very confuzzled!

  3. don’t ask my why, but you remind me of Stevie Ray Vaughn.
    I guess that’s a good thing isn’t it? 🙂

  4. @walterschopp I agree with you.
David, I always hear you talking about playing. Please make a video improvising over the changes to a real tune?

  5. Let’s see.. D Ionian over Dmaj7, B Aeolian over Bm7 (same as D Ionian), E Dorian (same as D Ionian) over Em7 and A Mixolydian over A7.

  6. Do you have to be a member of the site to download the stuff he is talking about? I went to download the track and the written stuff and it keeps wanting money to print

  7. Hey Dave, I just wanted to take a minute to compliment you and your teaching style. I’m an intermediate player and I truly have learned a lot from your video’s! Peace…
