  1. @chaserc9393 In case you were still wondering (since I saw you replied a month ago) it’s the E form of C7. Bar an “E7” chord on the 8th fret and there you go. The F there I THINK is an F13 (or 9 or 11 I´╗┐ don’t really know) BUT it’s formed like 8 10 10 X 10 8. You’ll have to see his lesson under blues BL-206. At any rate, this is an awesome song to practice your chord inversions.

  2. Pretty´╗┐ Cool lesson here, Covers the topic quite well. Ive just made a´╗┐ bunch of detailed courses for beginners and advanced guitarists that you might be interested in. Check it out! would love to know what you and anyone watching this video thinks. Its totally free, and i mean TOTALLY

  3. @skatebboard It is A and D chords.. One bar of each. For the´╗┐ words and the tabs do a GOOGLE for “Feelin Alright Tabs”.. Will show you where to change the 2 different chords according to the words.. Like J said, Original is C7 and F7.. But you could use any I IV combination ( E,A / G,C etc.) No it wont be original.. But you can make it your own. Have fun with it.

  4. The 720p is crazy. Picked´╗┐ up your RUST dvd and now after 2 months I’m ready for more. Nice vid Justin.

  5. Hello Justin, it’s a´╗┐ pleasure for me to follow your beginners vids.
Thanks a lot for this. It is the right way for me, as an 44year old starter to keep practising alive. When you ever come to germany, please give me an info and we will go out for tasting some very good cold german beers.
    Many thanks, burkhard

  6. @JustinSandercoe Oh my! By all means…a 60’s Uni-vibe…humm….I think I owe´╗┐ YOU some points now. That’s the cat’s whiskers! =^..^=

  7. @univibe23 but I do own an original mint 60’s uni-vibe, do I get some cool points back for that?´╗┐ čśë

  8. I think this is a great way to help people learn to play the guitar. A bunch´╗┐ of people tell me they’re intimidated about learning the guitar. I’ve been sending them this link.. but I also made a quick video that explains scales.

  9. Just kidding Justin–Railway or Railroad–you’re still the best guitar instructor on YouTube! Appreciate what´╗┐ you do!

  10. Ooops.

Lesson #1: how to look like a noob. Try and mention cool bands and get the name slightly wrong.

See I was just´╗┐ trying to teach you that too!

  11. Haha he’s not so thrilled with the easier versions of songs. He mine´╗┐ as well be singing “this is blah/don’t bother!’ He’s awesome though. I think he’s good-looking too.

  12. Hi Justin, i started playing last year with your help. I didn’t really progress so far´╗┐ cause i’ve been in and out of it, not much time for it…working night shifts so i’m not sure my neighbours would apreciate it at 4am…

Anyway, i’m really proud to mention your name (& website) when someone ask me who i learned from.

Thank a lot from Montreal, Canada ;O)

  13. Justin – very cool. I have to´╗┐ echo CarrickLightstar above and say that building up the tune with embellishments, and messin’ about with chord variations was very enlightening – not just for this tune, but others! Gracias. (Oh yeah, you spelled remember wrong in the closing graphic čśë

  14. please do black veil Brides morticians daughter. I’ve watched so many failed tutorials and I honestly think if anyone can do it right its you mate. Please It´╗┐ would mean so much to me

  15. @nothinlasts4eva01 buy a pick and´╗┐ try to get used to using it. eventually you will and you will be able to play more songs

  16. So, I dont use a pick to play my guitar, like, I dont even own one. I’m finding it really hard to do the struming pattern on this, I cant play the ‘up’. Help? :’)´╗┐

  17. @ash07grad from left to right each number stands´╗┐ for a string, the most left is bottem E and the most right is high e. The numbers actually stand for the fret number you put your fingers on

  18. @TheJerodMayo no it’s not! look at the strumming. try to sing you and me by lifehouse by those´╗┐ timing and strum =P

  19. Your comprehensive and patient style has´╗┐ taught these old hippie fingers to use all of their individual brains. Thank you, Marty. You rock.

  20. @mrzapzap88. I’m not the only one who is not hearing iris in this video. When i was finished learning, i learned Lifehouse and could play with their song. Btw look for youtube, for more videos of Iris. They play it whole differently. Still I love how marty teach, he is a master teacher. I learned everything from him. Maybe I just don’t hear or reconize the song in this? Are there 2 guitars in the song? Cuz listen to´╗┐ the song I thought it go differently.

  21. @themakosoldier dude your retarded brah this chord´╗┐ progression works for both songs… it’s a pretty common chord sequence

  22. Thank you so much! Your video was very easy to follow along with, and you did a great job with it! keep it up! I’m´╗┐ looking foward to learning more songs from you čÖé
