  1. for the record, that acoustic guitar is the hardest to pick like that. just sayin’…. well done boys!

  2. Personally, I feel that shows like America’s Got Talent devalue the artistry of their performers by reducing them to objects of entertainment. Bluegrass music is too much of a niche genre to ever be immensely popular for a sustained period of time; if these kids were to appear on America’s Got Talent, their notoriety could very well be reduced to a quick “fifteen minutes of fame” on a lame television show. I think that these kids’ musical development doesn’t need reality television.

  3. And what is THAT supposed to mean? Why would you even mention skin colour, considering that it is of no relevance to this video? I’ve also heard very little music that is entirely about “buttholes and [drugs;]” I don’t know what you’re listening to. Grow up and appreciate something special without being a racist asshole, would you?

  4. Bluegrass has a lot of roots in Irish music through many evolutions in music, although the banjo began in it’s most rudimentary version as an African instrument.

  5. Maybe in rhythm, but it follows a pretty standard formula. Think parties where people dance and there’s a fast steady beat. Other than that it’s pretty ‘Mmmerican as far as I can tell. (hence the album title)

  6. I love how you included some of your own cartoons as well as the standard american ones. <3 Its the little touch that shows you really care, like when Axis of Awesome included Waltzing Matilda in their Four Chords songs list.

  7. He has the perfect voice for the Scooby Doo theme, and add in the fact that he kinda looks like Shaggy, and it’s just epic.

  8. “Sonic – he’s the fastest thing aliiiiiiiiive … my little pony, my little pony…”
Stupidly didn’t read the description and song lineup. Literal rofl moment there. Nice.
